Hey everybody, I've been told that Spring has officially started even though I woke up to snow this morning. I'm sure warmer days are in our near future and I'm positive that some rockfishing is in mine, how 'bout yours? If it;s not don't worry there is still time and dates available for Spring trophy season to get your first fix of the warm season. Don't wait too long though, we still have some dates available, but here are fewer and fewer all the time. Make sure you don't miss your chance to see the 26 line spectacle that has become known as the spring trophy spread. The season starts April 20 and runs through May 15 when we'll start picking on the smaller class stripers with some light tackle and the rest of guys will show up soon there after. Croakers, spot, bluefish, red drum, and more will be here by the end of May. We'll be fishing out of Reedville all summer long running around catching whatever we can get on the hook. Our calendar is up to date and ready to add your name on it, so don't wait too long to get your gang together and join us out on the water. Remember, it won't be long now til the shorts and flip flops come out of the closet!!!

Spring Trophy Season is right around the corner!!!
Hello everyone,
Hope you all have made it through the winter ok and are ready to pull out the short pants and flip flops. Spring is right around the corner and with it comes spring trophy season starting April 20th. After a somewhat dismal winter season with the fish figuring out where they need to swim in order to live, its time to pay them back where they can't hide over invisble lines. This spring, we will be fishing out of Smith Point Marina so we will be closer to Maryland waters to give minimal rides to the fishing grounds and more time fighting the big boys. We still have some open dates available for the spring season which runs through May 15, and after May 15 we will start our light tackle season and pull out the chum grinder. Check out our calendar at c4charters.com to find your date to wrestle with some bass. Give us a call or shoot us an email with an y questions you may have, look forward to seeing you all for some great fishing this spring.

Better late than never!!! Tuna and Bass are here!!!
The fish are finally showing up where they need to be and we are starting to whack 'em pretty good. Hey everyone, over the past week the fish had found the miles of menhaden in here on the beach and are chewing pretty good. We've had some good action on the rockfish and a few close encounters with the bluefins, but have yet to put one aboard. We have had a couple of long battles against the giants, but in the end they have won. Things are really looking up down here and we have a few open days in the end of January and a few in February as well for rockfish and tuna trips for those who have yet to have a chance to wrestle any of these beasts, come on down and get some fish for your freezer!! Our calendar is up to date and new pictures will be coming soon. Give us a call or shoot us an email for info. or any questions you have.

Temperatures falling, fishing is heating up!!!
Hey everyone, Hope your getting your sweatshirts and blue jeans out of storage because its getting cooler all the time. And cooler means rockfish!!! We've been having very good luck so far this fall on light tackle catching school sized striped bass and 2-5 lb. bluefish chumming and livelining. It won't be long before the big boys start showing up too, for the next 2-3 weeks we will continue chumming waiting on the big fellas. We will start trolling for them around the 3rd week of November and will be hunting them down until December 15 when we head to Rudee. We plan on fishing down there through Valentines Day, but don't wait until last minute to get your chance at some monster rockfish!!! We also have some tournaments available for those willing to take the gamble and try to win some big money!!! The Casey Neal Rogers tournament out of Reedville Nov. 17 and a couple days of the Mid-atlantic Rockfish Shootout the first weekend of January. Give us a call today to get your winter rockfishing trip set up. Tight Lines everyone!!!
