Cobia Season is Open!!!

Hello everyone, We got some great news last week when the VMRC decided to go against the ASMFC's ruling on closing cobia season after June 20th. This means we will be able to keep cobia all summer long, we have been restricted to keeping 2 40" or greater fish per day, but I guess that's better than the alternative and having a closed season on a great fishery. We are allowed to catch and release so everyone can get a chance to wrestle with one of these giants. We will start running trips for cobia on the weekends starting 6/11, mostly what we'll be doing when targeting cobia will be chumming and livelining, it may be a little bit of sight casting in the mix, but mostly chumming. We will also be trolling for bluefish, red drum, and spanish mackerel, bottom fishing for croaker, spot, and sharks, and we will also be doing flats fishing trips for puppy drum and speckled trout. We will be running these trips on weekends only and these are all great trips with lots of action that for lots of fun for family trips, your best buddies, or a group from work. We look forward to seeing you on board this summer.
