Fall Rockfishing is in Full Swing!!!

Hello everyone, Hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather we've had the past few days (just kidding). Hopefully this mess we have dealt with this week won't hurt the fishing because it's been really good out of the gate. Rockfish seasoned opened in Virginia last week and started out wide open, there are plenty of healthy fish waiting to be caught on some of our local chumming grounds. Chumming and livelining has been producing limits of fish up to 28" and a few blues in the mix as well. There are also a few nice puppy drum showing themselves from time to time for us and birds working on some bigger blues as they move south down the Bay for the winter. This is great news for us right now and makes me feel even more confident about this fall and winter. As most of you know, last fall was great, but our winter was hit or miss, with more misses than hits. I'm hoping this milder summer this year we have had and outlooks for a colder, more normal winter that VA Beach will be back to business as usual. I also feel that our Fall Bay season will be a great one as well, seeing good numbers of healthy smaller fish now leads me to believe that we will see great numbers of the big fish from the middle of November until we head to Rudee on Dec 18. We still have a few dates available for our fall chumming and livelining season through Nov. 17, after the 17th I believe we will be trolling full time for the big fish out of Reedville for a solid month of fishing before we head south with the big boys. Our calendar is now open through the first weekend in February to take bookings right on through the bulk of our ocean season, and we only have 3 saturdays left for the entire season. Nov. 30 on the Bay and Dec. 21 and Feb. 1 out of Rudee, Holiday dates are going fast as well with only a couple dates available around Christmas. We do however still have plenty of dates in the first 2 weeks in December when fishing will be great out of Reedville to wind down the Bay season and we have lots of weekdays open in January for the heart of the Ocean run. Give us a call soon so you don't miss out on your date to get your winter time trophy Bass and possibly a shot at a giant bluefin in January at the Beach!!!  Hunters, there are still a few Sundays available to not interfere with the deer and waterfowl hunts so don't miss your chance. Tight Lines everyone!!!!
