Hello everyone, Hope you have enjoyed your summer and are getting ready for fall. With fall here now, means that rockfish are right around the corner with our season opening on October 4th. First I'd like to thank everyone who fished with us over the summer whether it was mackerel and blues, cobia fishing, or flats fishing for trout and drum. The end of the summer is now here and we are switching gears to start targeting rockfish and we are still doing well flats fishing on the trout. Flats fishing is pretty good right now in the marshes with lots of small to medium trout and a few bigger ones showing up which should change to even more big ones after this cold front comes through this week. Aboard the Anna Lynn, we are putting the grinder back on the boat and getting ready to start chumming our local reefs and wrecks for rockfish and the few blues that are still around. We'll be chumming and livelining for the next few weeks until some breaking fish start showing up and we'll begin trolling and casting to some decent sized rockfish. We should be catching some decent sized fish from day one right through midNovember when we will switch over to the big gear and moving to the deep water looking for the big migratory fish making their way down the bay. We will be running charters on weekends from now until midNovember and then the schedule will open up to 7 days a week throught the end of the year. Don't wait too long to get your group together and give us a caall for some great fall fishing on the Chesapeake Bay!!
Tight Lines,
